About YouTube Videos

I realise that a couple of the YouTube videos that I had painstakingly sought and posted here have 'disappeared'. The videos were removed by their respective YouTube users for whatever reasons.

I personally view these consolidated videos here for my own entertainment too. I wish that there is way to gather a list of selected YouTube videos where the videos can be replaced by a similar updated one 'automatically' if the previous one ever gets removed by its YouTube user.

If not, it will be quite a challenge to monitor which video links are still working and which are not. That will be food for thought for progammers...

Large collection of My Little Ponies up for adoption!

I've been downsizing my personal My Little Pony collection, for about 6 months already. However the monthly departure of my ponies during this period did not seem to have caused a 'dent' in my large collection of close to 800 ponies, from all 3 generations.

Collecting toys is very much easier than passing them on to other collectors. There are some extra steps involved in 'exporting', compared to 'importing' them. Back then about 10 years ago, my pony collection expanded very rapidly into its hundreds, within only a year!

This recent outflow of ponies does not mean that I do not love My Little Pony anymore. In fact, I still adore them because of the fond memories they bring me and my general penchant for horses and ponies. It's just that due to space contraints and new committments in life, it's time to pass on some of my herd to other fellow collectors who would love and appreciate them like I do.

Blog updates for Jan 2008

It's already 5 days into the new year of 2008 and my new daily blog at Toy Collecting Tips is already a month old!

Toy Collecting Tips has taken much of my attention away from "Talk About Toys" for the moment because of the steep learning curve involved in managing that self-hosted blog.

However, that does not mean that I will shut down "Talk About Toys". Instead, I will continue it and find a way for both blogs to complement each other.
